10 very fast days

I was home for ten days for thanksgiving and it went by WAY to fast. Sometimes I wonder how time can fly like that. I took tests, went out on dates, shopped, made angry bird cupcakes, slept, had doctors appointments, played with my family (I MISSED them!), hung out with friends (I have the best friend in the entire world), unpacked, repacked, hopped back on an airplane and I'm already back in Cali! I went home and it was like I never left, I simply picked up where I left off when I moved out of my house about a year and a half ago. Then I come back to Cali and pick up here where I left off here. There are still lunches to be made, kids to run to school and a baby to play with. Crazy, crazy life. I'm trying to learn to be patient. Being patient is so hard when there is so much I want to do... I feel like its one of those hurry up and wait things. Oh well. I have nineteen days left here in Cali then I'm moving home for good where I need to find a job, buy a car, go to school, regain a social life, and well be a very busy young women I suppose!

Let the countdown begin!

I'm going home for thanksgiving next week. Yes. Next week and I'm really really really excited. Okay besides the cold. I'm not ready for that. I'm quite enjoying the Southern California weather, so I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for it. But so cal doesn't have my huge, loving, amazing. family and most of my friends, and family dinners at grandmas, and orange leaf runs with Meg, and late nights with my sisters. I have so much to squish into ten short days... but I can do it! Next week my friends!

Temple night!

I was a very lucky girl to get to the temple tonight. This is only the second time I've been to the LA temple since I've been here so I was very glad to go again. Our stake is having a relief society temple weekend. Baptisms tonight, a session tomorrow and a temple fireside on Sunday by the temple president. So I went and did baptisms tonight, no one else from my little branch came but that's okay because I got lots of good reflecting time in as I waited. I just love the temple, I sat there just thinking how wonderful it feels, like nothing can go wrong and what you're doing is so important. But guess what? It is! We are so incredibly blessed to have temples near us to be able to preform the work for those that have gone on before us and so we can enjoy the blessings that are offered inside ourselves. After I did my baptisms I went over to the visitor's center to see if one of the sister missionaries was there that use to be in my branch. I use to go out teaching with her and her companion and I was so excited to see that she was there. We sat and chatted for a while before I headed home on this rainy November Friday night. But what a wonderful night it was.

Hello. This is Me.

When you say "Hello. this is me." You need to say it like Marcell the shell with shoes on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up. Or ask my little sister. She does it perfectly. Anywho. Just wanted to say hi. Life is good right now. It's sunny here in California. And warm. Tomorrow is Friday. I got a haircut today. I'm eating healthy food, thinking about all the awesome people I know, doing things I want to do, oh and trying to study. Did you know that I have the best family and friends? Ever. No debate. I can't wait to come home and hug everyone and play with Megan and B and go swing dancing with Ashley and find cute boys and just be home. But for now, I'm enjoying the ride. Oh to be young and free :)
